A small practice with a decade of craft

Alder and Arc is an independent digital design practice in Lisbon, working with startups, small businesses and large corporations on websites, software and mobile apps.

Trained in digital design at the Lisbon Atelier Institute. And we have been working in the design industry for over a decade.

Our passion for design started with a sketchbook and a borrowed camera, and we have pursued it ever since by working with a variety of clients and projects over the years. We keep the team deliberately small: every engagement is led by a principal, prototypes arrive in weeks rather than quarters, and nothing ships until it reads clearly on a phone held one-handed on the metro.
