Overview
Verde sells considered homeware — ceramics, linen, solid timber — to people furnishing slowly. Their catalogue had outgrown its template: filters fought the aesthetic, delivery surprises arrived at checkout, and beautiful objects photographed badly on white.
We designed a storefront that shops like the brand feels: unhurried, honest about materials, and clear about when things arrive.
Approach
We audited the hundred best-selling products and found most buying questions repeated: how big, what is it made of, when will it arrive. The redesign answers all three above the fold — then gets out of the way.
- Room-led navigation: shop by space and ritual, not just category.
- Product pages with dimensions in context, material notes and lead times.
- Photography guidelines for in-situ shots that scale across seasons.
- One-page checkout with delivery promises stated before payment.
- Post-purchase care emails that cut returns and earn reviews.
−27%checkout abandonment after the one-page rebuild
2.8×revenue per session from room-led navigation
−19%returns after material and sizing notes went live
